I am sure you can tell by now that I am trying to establish my brand name as sufara. This all started when I found out that the name “siyah” is already registered in all Top Level Domains.  So after much deliberation I settled on sufara (pronounced Sufaaraa but I wanted to make the domain shorter). The word Sufara has middle eastern origins and is related to words that mean embassy/ambassador or travel/traveler. In a Lebanese dialect it means “man who has been on or traveled a long journey” and this is the meaning that I identify with the most.

In old Maldivian (boadhaa bas) the word sufaaraa means arrow.

So I hope that through this blog my readers will travel with me for some way on my long road.
